Do you consider yourself to be highly organized in your every day and work life?  Are you a self-starter, able to set personal goals and motivate yourself to stay on task and follow through?  Have you successfully graduated with a post-secondary degree in travel and tourism?  If so, we want to hear from you.

Experience

A post-secondary degree in travel and tourism and experience in selling travel is preferred.   An up to date TICO certification is required.  Strong familiarity with TICO regulation, passport/VISA requirements for travel to the United States, trip and medical insurance, etc.

Communication

You should have very strong written and oral communication skills.  You should be able to communicate complex products and often-complex situations concisely and succinctly to our Guests both verbally and in writing.  Your grammar and spelling should be top notch and your language professional, not colloquial.  You should have the ability to pleasantly dispel myths and misunderstandings about the Disney and Universal product and maintain character integrity.  You should be a professional champion of the destination, but able to articulate the realities of travel and special requests.

Computers and Technology

You will be expected to supply your own desktop or laptop device equipped with an up to date browser (Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome), a valid copy of Microsoft Office and a mail application that allows rich-text editing.  You must have computer problem solving skills and the ability to work with someone within our office to troubleshoot any issues you may have.  Your typing skills and ability to navigate basic applications (Word, Excel, a mail, calendar and address book application), conduct web searches, copy and paste text/photos should be exceptional.  If you will be working from a mobile device you should be familiar with your e-mail set up. We work in a fast paced industry; a lack of computer skills will slow you and our Guests down.

Guest Service

We offer personalized, one on one service catered to each and every one of our Guests.  We want to ensure professionalism and responsibility in retail travel.  We pride ourselves on being a storefront office and expect our staff to have dedicated weekly hours that do not waiver.  This is not a job to supplement your income, but rather should be a passion and career in progress.  Your dedication to the office and your Guests must be top notch.
